Low and Slow April 26th, 2020

Sometimes I fly high a line and slow, other times low and fast, out here it's the absolute worst of both strategies. For reasons beyond the scope of my understanding, as the southern Arizona day's become stiflingly hot, the lower-elevations become increasingly stable, keeping me captive to an invisible cage extending no more than 300 m above the desert surface. And because elevation is in such scarce supply now, I've got to milk the last 10-15 m out of each thermal to offer the greatest chance of making it to the next one.
