Day 3, 4 am, time for weather, strategy and coffee! After Antoine Gerrard hurt himself trying to launch in strong winds just over the main crest of the alps, Krischa and a number of other pilots made the wise choice to bunk up in one of the alpine huts. From down here in the valley, it looks like he'll finally get the flying day we've been praying for.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
