
Simply marked on our map as "Interesting, Long, Low Ridge" the cigar shaped, Southwest facing feature stood out on our aerial map like a sore thumb. Being so shallow, it requires a good breeze to soar, but an extra 5km/h stronger and you'll be blown over the back. If you can't stay aloft, or the wind is too strong, you won't make it to the clearings and instead be dodging the tall trees and wild elephants below.
